I didn't see anyone, or hear the sound of laughter ahead of me. I was about 15 min late this morning, but went ahead and walked the Cherokee trail. It was beautiful with the ice crystals on the trail and icicles on the grist mill.

Not sure I have the correct type of layering for this weather. Think this might be a good day to visit REI and buy some ear muffs and hand warmers.

    Hi Cheryl,
I have a question about the weather for the hike at Stone Mountain on Saturday. I understand the temps will be in the 20's on that day.....I am not sure that I am ready for a hike in those temps ...being the Florida Girl that I am. Will you still be going? Do I just let you know closer to the date if I will be there or not?
    Thanks and Happy New Year!!

Any one have any idea of where we should have lunch please send my your suggestion. Try and make it near Stone Mtn or close to the Hwy for those who are traveling.
