Get involved with Connect - a group of young professionals in the Twin Cities looking to further Aeon's vision that everyone has a home. Connect’s monthly Share-a-Meal volunteer opportunity allows you to build your network with other young professionals all while cooking, serving, and eating a meal with Aeon’s residents. These meals are served at two of Aeon’s apartment buildings: the Lamoreaux Apartments and Continental Hotel Apartments, both of which provide apartment homes for formerly homeless adults.

Connect’s meals are typically served at 6:30 pm and volunteers are asked to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 pm. The meal planning will be coordinated by a Team Lead who will also help give direction to the group's meal preparation onsite.

Volunteers are asked to make a donation of between $10 and $20 to help pay for the meal. Both of these opportunities are in downtown Minneapolis. An email confirmation with start time, final meal cost per person, and parking directions will be sent to registrants approximately one week ahead of time.

This is a great way to get to know your neighbors in the Twin Cities, eat a tasty meal which you have helped prepare, and learn more about Connect, Aeon and the need for affordable housing in the Twin Cities.
