  • June 14, 2014 · 3:00 PM

Show us your handstand, win a spot at July's Nail It! Handstand Workshop at Aeriform Arts, a new pair of leggings, and a yoga strap!!

Aeriform Arts and Nail It! teachers Jen Netherby and Yoga With Niki Saccareccia - Hatha Yoga Teacher in Los Angeles, CA challenge you to show us your handstand progress every day from June 14 through July 12!

We'll post new variations each week for you to challenge yourself to find greater balance and some just for fun. Those who take part in the challenge by posting a picture of their handstand every day on Facebook or Instagram and tag #Nailithandstandchallenge will be entered to win the prize of entry to the July 13 Nail It! workshop, a pair of leggings, and a yoga strap. If you're out of area, we'll send you the pair of leggings and a yoga strap:)

Week 1: Show us where you're starting from with pics this week of your best handstand. Whether it's at a wall, in the middle of a park, or you're just beginning to kick your legs up. We want to see!!

Week 2: Knee to chest variation. Begin to train your body to use core muscles to support your handstand by bringing one knee into the chest.

Week 3: Tree variation. This variation makes us feel lighter.

Week 4: Where are you now? It's down to the final stretch. How has your handstand progressed since the first week? Show us! Or maybe try a new variation!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
