Our group supports the Friends of African & African American Art (FAAAA) which is an affiliate group of the North Carolina Museum of Art. The goal of FAAAA is to enrich and enhance the Museum's collection of African art and African American art. They also provide educational programming, organize social events and raise funds to secure acquisitions for the NCMA collection.
Our group also supports the Hayti Heritage Center. It is located in Durham, NC and is dedicated to African American culture and education. It has diverse programming that includes art exhibitions, lectures, theater, dance, poetry and music. Annual events include a Blues Festival and African American Film Festival.
