George Washington Carver Exhibit children 15 and under FREE adult $8

This massive exhibit takes visitors into Carvers world.  You will follow Carver from his birth into slavery, to his triumph over social and financial  obstacles that challanged his quest for an education.  You will get to see documented history of his success as a scientist, educator, conservationist, and humanitarian among the poor African American farmers of the south.  His experiments laid the groundwork for research on plant based fuels, medicines, and everyday products.  Please come out and bring your children to this event.  We will have an early dinner afterwards at a local Black owned resturante
