Trail Work Day Saturday

Hello After Work Hikers,

One more call for volunteers for the Trail Work Day--Green Mountain/Lakewood this Saturday, June 9 at 7:45am at the Florida Lot.  Not only is it great to help maintain the parks that we hike in so much, but it's also a lot of fun.  If you talk to people who done trail work with this Meetup in the past, or look at the comments on the website, people really enjoy the trail work days and always look forward to the next one.  And, for a paltry $3, you'll get getting an outstanding lunch (chili, vegetarian dishes, desserts) that would cost you four or five times as much at a restaurant.

I've said many times that if you participate in a trail work day, your odds of getting on my hikes will improve.  In fact, everyone who participated in the May 19 Trail Work Day—Red Rocks Park has been advanced from the wait list for every hike they have signed up for since.

The weather forecast for Saturday morning looks terrific—temps in the 70s with almost no chance of rain.

If you plan to go, please sign up soon.  We need a headcount for planning purposes, including knowing how many to make lunch for.
