Every Thursday night at 7:30 we come together in community to explore practical applications of teachings from the Buddhist tradition in daily life. All classes consist of a period of guided meditation and some combination of lecture, interpersonal practice and group process depending on the night.
Pablo Das is a Buddhist teacher, holistic health coach and practitioner of Somatic Experiencing (a system for the resolution of trauma). He was trained at Against the Stream Buddhist meditation Society and was a member of it's founding teachers council. He was on the founding treatment team at Refuge Recovery, a Buddhist based outpatient addiction recovery program. He's trained in council practice at the Ojai foundation. He assists trainings in Somatic Experiencing in Los Angeles and maintains a private one on one coaching practice working with people on integrating Buddhist practice and principles into daily life, establishing and maintaining wellness, trauma resolution and working with addictive patterns. He is a musician, storyteller and amateur queer historian.
No registration is necessary. Suggested donation: $15. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
