Just wondering, has anyone contacted an attorney to see if we may have a case against Meetup over these changes? Even though the Meetup TOS makes a great attempt at clearing them of any and all liability, we are paying customers with websites that are being harmed, they may not be as protected from a legal case as they believe.
There are plenty of class action attorneys that work in the technology space that would certainly lend us an ear over this. I'm afraid that because we have had -0- effect over the previous and most recent change, Meetup may not ever yield to their customers.
Just a thought..
PS: Peter, Emmy, Howard - what's going on with this group? I was expecting to see more activity since you guys took it over. I had no idea this "newer" view was coming when I left as the organizer, but as of right now I was hoping to see much more activity from you guys in the Meetup forums and on here to promote this group and the Rally event.
