Sussex and Kent County residents in Delaware are as diverse as the many activities available. The main purpose of this group is to Make New Friends specifically for singles and couples age 40+. We are open to all suggestions for gatherings at locations throughout the area.  Some possibilities are: Dining,Dancing, Karaoke ,Community Volunteerism, Picnics, hiking, Sea-glass collecting, bowling, movies, concerts, live bands, game night, etc. etc. We are open to just about anything! We encourage our member to host events. All this means is to select the venue, keep track of the number of folks attending, make sure the place will do separate checks, and make a reservation. Other than that, all you have to do is show up on time.  

We are looking forward to socializing with old friends, meeting new folks, and above all, having fun! The general geographic area is from Dover down to the beaches of the southern-most part of the state.  We will do our best to balance the locations and that members of the group will share in the process of suggesting and hosting events.  Since the full membership has a say in location and venue, if you don't see something that interests you, then create it!
