Aggieland Animal Lovers & Volunteers!

We are a need-based group organized after a terrible act of animal cruelty (see below) came to our attention. Our mission is to raise funds to fight, investigate, & prevent dog fighting and other acts animal cruelty in Aggieland through education, networking, and publicity, and to protect and rescue where necessary. We hope to create a web of information to help the Sheriff's department in their investigation into local dog-fighting activity. We welcome any information, and would love to utilize any publicity possible. (Even just your facebook status!) Our hosts, the action committee members of Long Way Home Animal Sanctuary -a 501(c)3 non-profit organization- (www.mylongwayhome.org) are working diligently to publicize this problem, rescue local dogs, piece together information, and educate the public. (unless specified by event) All of your giving depends on your spending-and everyone is welcome. We just ask that you come hungry and RSVP! Don't have somewhere to be that night?
