Why did you want to join up to the Agile Auckland group?

The opportunity to share experiences and challenges and evolve our approaches to value-driven business change.

What areas of Agile do you work / participate or are interested in?

I am interested in anything that helps organisations achieve great value - to function better, deliver delightful customer experiences, find and motivate great people, get enough returns to continue investing and growing, and to have fun doing it.

What has impacted you most when you think about Agile software development?

From mid-1990's adopted lightweight approaches (DSDM, XP, and Scrum) before we even called them 'agile'. This ain't no revolution, people! Now have a pragmatic approach to whatever delivers value. Biggest impacts I have seen: direct business involvement and great ease of maintaining currency of scope and justification. Biggest impact on me: more consultative and adaptable approach.

Constantly learning and happy that the field is constantly evolving. Been agile since 1995. Manager for Enterprise Agile Coaching at Fiserv.
