Wonderful article! This provided detailed information about project management and how to make use of it. Moreover, I have seen a growing demand for Project management certified professionals. With the help of training providers like http://www.pmstudy.com , I was able to prepare for my PMP exam in an efficient manner.

If you keep searching, you will find multiple Scrum certification sites out there. Each have some ridiculous guidelines for certification, However, I came across this site and you can study thier free content and then register for the scrum exam .Then there is http://www.scrumstudy.com that also provides online content along training courses .

Thank you very much, Reg, for a very accessible and informative session! I'm relatively new to the world of business analysis (having come from a background in research and economic consulting) and this was a perfectly digestible presentation of what is often technical mumbo-jumbo. A perfect introduction to the meet-up group for me! I look forward to more similar presentations.

Hi all, Thank you to all those that attended.
    :)

I will put up a desensitised version of the presentation pack sometime in the new few days.

However, if you would like a copy of the pack that I used yesterday, feel free to contact me on [masked] and I will send it to you.

In addition to these great references I recommend Lean from the Trenches: http://www.amazon.com... a great description of a real-world implementation of Lean/Kanban on a large project.

Perform an assessment of the needs of the business to determine what principles to use from scrum / agile / kanban / lean, etc, in formulating a governance structure that delivers the most value to stakeholders. Every situation is different. Don't get too bogged down in the academia and technical differences. Be practical.

There is a number to call next to both entrances to gain access.

What's the topic for the next meeting. Would like to share some thoughts. What is the difference between the SCRUM and Lean Methodology. How do we decide on the methodology to use.

Hi Archana, I recently presented to the teams at work about the differences between Scrum and Kanban and also gave them a basic overview of Lean Software Development. Happy to run the Agile BA group through something similar if nothing else is scheduled.
