Brett Maytom will commence the session with a talk on developing good quality user stories. We'll follow that up with a Q&A.
After the presentation we will also be breaking into groups and work-shopping the creation of user stories. Nothing will make this learning stick better than performing the work.
Bring along some requirements content that you can use to create your stories. (And old or current specification, or just your own subject matter expertise will be sufficient.)
This session will be particularly useful to analysts going through the transition to working with Scrum or Kanban teams.
Brett is a CSM who works with Readify. He has worked with a number of teams on implementing scrum, and ha a wide range of experience in working with and transitioning people from a stand alone specification document to the use of stories in the development process.
