SAFe Release Trains

One sprint team = One potentially shippable product increment at the end of the sprint. But what happens when you have multiple teams working over multiple sprints from the same program backlog?

Join us Monday the 25th to hear Anu Smalley and Bill Nazzaro lead a discussion on SAFe Release Trains.

Anu has over 20 years of IT experience including over 5 years formal agile experience as Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach and Trainer, with a focus on organizational transformation. Anu is a SAFe Program Consultant and Certified Scrum Professional, and is currently an Agile Coach for Capital One.

Bill is is the President and Founder of Process Synergy, LLC, a Philadelphia-based consultancy that works with organizations to streamline their software development processes and accelerate their project delivery. Bill is also a SAFe Program Consultant.

As always, open networking will start at 6:30pm and food and drinks will be provided.

Great discussion and a lot of value added information. My key takeaways on this
    a. Safe Release trains aligns IT with business from a middle approach which pulls executive and bottom development teams in sync.
    b. Defined process removes road blocks, cuts down ambiguities and reduces risk.

What i would like to see in the future.
    a. How do we measure performance between teams, members using Agile
    b. How do we handle technical debts like code cleanups, architecture refractoring projects or tasks in the middle of agile process.
    c. Motivation tips and tricks to keep the members motivated on practices, handle resistance from people

Please let me know if you want me to clarify on things which i would like to see..

Building is on the left and room is also to the left, but the front desk will direct you to the room when you enter the building. Just tell them you are there for the agile user group.
