London Agile Evangelist 15

Please note change of venue. The Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel is opposite our usual meeting venue.

The Lean Startup isn't just about how to create a more successful entrepreneurial's about what we can learn from those businesses to improve virtually everything we do. Imagine Lean Startup principles applied to Government programs, to Healthcare, and to solving the world's great problems. It's ultimately an answer to the question 'How can we learn more quickly what works, and discard what doesn't?'

I do a lot of startup events and whilst it was recorded (a few bits missed) I think you may find that the mic being at the back may not have picked up everything you may want)

Whilst videos are great and carry a lot of atmosphere you may be better off by letting the presenters know how inspiring you found the talks and recommending blog posts on the subject. - This way they get a buzz , you get a link you can share, and they get more blog followers :) win win win

Hi Adrian, This will be a great talk to attend even for someone with little experience, as you'll be able to gain an understanding of some of the issues troubling other companies/environments and what techniques can be used to assist in this - and if there are a few bits that go over your head, there are plenty of individuals at the bar afterward could assist in providing advice etc.

For someone just starting out and looking to learn more about agile practices, will this talk be over a beginners head?

Could I ask, why out of all the meetup groups and events I go to, typically 2-3 a month, this one is unique in not taking the meetup "I am attending" as evidence that I am attending and separately asks me to confirm via another email address as well. This doesn't seem very "lean". Yes I am attending, if I wasn't I would update meetup.
