Agile Show & Tell

For the August meeting, we are being hosted by Pivotal Labs for a Show & Tell of Agile and UX. Agenda: Part 1: Some folks from Pivotal will give us a brief tour of their Agile practice and how they integrate UX. Part 2: Attendees are encouraged to bring a show-and-tell item, e.g. something physical or something on their laptop, which can be the basis for a series of short talks and discussion. **Please let us know in advance if you plan on bringing an item for show and tell.** The first Agile Experience roundtable was a great success, we look forward to the show and tell discussions at our 2nd meetup! If you have any questions about this event or ideas for future meetups, please contact Anders or Kristie. See you August 18th! Anders & Kristie

Really liked the format of this meetup & appreciated the chance to demonstrate some of my process. Some of the Q&A periods went a bit long, I think in the future holding off on questions until everybody has spoken might work a little better.

Considering that this was Pivotal NY's first event in their new space, I thought things worked out very nicely. Interesting talks and discussion all around.

The Show & Tell format was an excellent method for getting the current agile approaches being used out there and generating good feedback and suggestions.

A few of the speakers didn't speak loudly enough. And the ventilation was very loud every once in a while. I had a hard time hearing them. Other than that, I really liked the meet-up. I had good exposure to the Agile practices.

Great overview on Pivotal's Tracker PM tool - best I've seen! Of particular interest was the Pair-Up development method - very interesting. For those that missed it, I'd watch the recording by Chris and his team at www.bit.ly/AgileUX
