A key trend among UX designers on Agile teams is a shift away from using software to create design docs like wireframes and personas, and instead creating specs by hand. For our next Meetup, a variety of practitioners will present sample artifacts, discuss how they work, and pros/cons of working with handmade design documents. After their presentations, we'll open up the floor for a panel-style Q&A.
We hope you can join us!
Jodi Leo, SVA IxD
Will talk about the power of sketching in holistic product design, from iteration to inclusion.
Melissa Keene, Annalect
Will talk about how Annalect is a sketch-only shop. She'll be sharing a sampling of sketches, sketchboards, and paper prototypes.
Rob Purdie, IBM Design Lab and Christine Christopherson, Euro RSCG
Will share examples of pragmatic personas created during a project kickoff at the IBM Design Lab, and discuss benefits and potential pitfalls of using this approach.
