Yes, and they work! The only problem is, people CAN'T believe they work and so there must be another reason! The hardest part about implementing Agile methodologies is getting traditional managers to relax about losing control over their people.
Yes, I'm a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and a Certified Scrum Practioner (CSP - requires successful experience as a CSM).
I searched for 'Agile Software' in the Seattle area, and saw there was a waiting list with many people on it. 'See a need, fill a need!' So, I organized the group... and here we are.
I'd like to learn about Agile methodologies I haven't used, e.g, XP and FDD. I'd also like to work on my presentation and training skills as I share my Scrum and Kanban experiences with others.
I find the Agile paradigm to be a refreshing change to the typical command-and-control style of traditional project and team management, and I am amazed at how much more productive teams are, and how much less team management hassles there are.
