Agile Alliance Australia - Sydney Chapter - First Meeting

You are invited to the launch meeting of the Sydney chapter of the Agile Alliance Australia (AAA). Last year’s inaugural Agile Australia conference established the AAA and it is envisaged that local chapters will provide ongoing education and knowledge-sharing.
ThoughtWorks founder and chairman Roy Singham will be our guest speaker. Roy has more than 20 years of technology and executive management experience and is globally renowned (and frequently provocative!) thought leader.
The Agile Academy as a centre of Agile expertise, is supporting the Sydney chapter launch by providing the venue. The launch will be held on 28th January at 5:30pm at 321 Kent St, Sydney, NSW 2000. Dinner and drinks will be provided.

Terence WongIt was well organised - thanks Daragh. I enjoyed the keynote speech by Roy - helped to set a good tone for future meetings. Would like to get to the stage of working out what sort of discussions / activities will be in future meetings. Going down to the pub is fine (unfortunately I couldn't make that bit) but perhaps identifying areas of interest or focus, and getting like-minded people into those groups might make networking more meaningful?

I was a member of the local Agile Alliance when I worked in Edinburgh, UK, and found it to be a valuable forum. I am pleased to see a Sydney Chapter has started up and look forward to our first meeting.
