The East Bay Meetup for the Agile Managers Support Group! Chris and I are collaborating to create more opportunities for folks to network and share support by holding meetings in both the south bay and the east bay.

David ChilcottEvent HostPersonally, I got a great deal of value from the meeting. Had an opportunity to facilitate a "Question Circle" as an opening, followed by a structured sticky note brainstorming and mindmapping session around the questions: "What is Value?"/"What is Business Value?" Provoked interesting and valuable conversations as well as crystallizing a Learning Story on "Exploring Business Valued" which I intend to offer in other venues. -
Rolf PielemeierAnother fantastic meeting run by David this time. Question game was another interesting tool for elicitation. High quality group. ZACKARY's Pizza (again). Additional work on measuring "Business Value", and trust very interesting. Great to have Agile group close to home.

Erik SowaThe topic was business value and the methodology was to start with a question circle and then go to a whiteboard for sticky-note brainstorming.
The exercise proved immediately useful, as a couple of the things I learned I will be using the very next day in my conversations with senior management.

The last meet up was great. Thanks to D. Chilcott for hosting and letting us use the office, whiteboards, etc. Lots of lively discussion and it seemed like everyone came away with something valuable.
