This will be a hands on presentation and not a PowerPoint lecture so you can leave your matchsticks at home! Kanban (signal for action) is a just in time system that can practically control workflow if used with other methods, as a fair and socially responsible process. There will be a live demonstration on how most jobs are completed at work and the associated problems. The demonstration will then cover how things can be improved using Lean and Kanban philosophies, knitted together. The hands on presentation will be interspersed with stories from Richard from his experience in the Lean field.
