The Elders' Guild is a grass-roots organization that is creating a bold new vision to help us prepare for community, activism and deep life-long learning for the rest of our lives.

Our vision is a world in which empowered and conscious elders join together in common purpose to bring healing, joy and connection to our lives, our families, our communities and the world.

Our mission is to create the communities where we re-imagine our old age, look after one another and embody the wisdom that will enable us to help heal the future.

Our goal is to help us prepare for a meaningful role as elders in society even though we have been conditioned to expect diminished strength and capacity.

We ended 2008 with three strong workshops focussing on each of of our three Elders' Guild Foundations: Community, Wisdom and Championing the Future.

Everyone is welcome to participate.
The Elders' Guild is Multi-Generational and Multi-Cultural.

The Elders' Guild is a project of Live Oak Institute, which has been working since 1977 to create an empowering new culture of conscious aging for the greater good. In the end it’s all about starting here and building an Elders’ Movement that will spread throughout the land.

Schmoozing from 1:30 to 2, with gathering starting promptly at 2. Light refreshments served. Note the different locations for different dates.
