Implications for the 50+ Market

It’s February, and naturally love is in the air. Here at Aging 2.0 we’ve been thinking about the 30 million Americans who are 50+ are single (17 M. of those are over 65*).

The baby boomers are the generation who pioneered the social acceptance of divorce, and with that, being a single older adult. In addition, they enjoyed free love in their youth, which isn't the same post Viagra and post HIV/AIDS. The business of Dating 2.0, which has focused primarily on 20-somethings has now grown to be a big market for older adults as well. But, like many products and services, online dating is not the same for this market as it is for the millennials.

This event is an exploration of the challenges, opportunities and new approaches for singles looking for love after 50.

We’ve invited experts from the fields of psychology, health and online dating services to help us navigate the subject.
