I would recommend buying a set of tire chains and keep them in your trunk just in case. Otherwise, I think you will have a great time! :-) Let me know if you have any other questions. I volunteer out there on Wednesday afternoons, so I may run into you soon.

Hello Niti! Yes, I think you will thoroughly enjoy volunteering at Sanctuary One. It is a wonderful place with a fantastic group of volunteers and staff! The location is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. There are a lot of outdoor activities to enjoy in the Applegate area. The biggest issue with traveling by car is getting over the Siskiyou pass from the Weed/Mt. Shasta area to Ashland/Medford. Sometimes it will be closed for periods of time due to inclement weather.
