Hajimemashite! There are so many good people doing good things all around us! Immersing myself in various projects helps me understand the world better. I look forward to sharing these experiences and exploring the world with you!
It's difficult for me to name just one experience I want to explore, but some things on the top of my list include ocean/beach clean up, understanding the local homeless population, and giving tools and resources to young people to achieve their dreams. In addition, I am ALWAYS up for trying new food and wine and coffees! I am excited to hear your ideas!
I believe optimism is seeing the opportunity in a given situation. Even in the worst situations, there are lessons to be learned and growth to be achieved. Being able to embrace that and not dwelling on the negativity has allowed me to see the beauty that I may not have seen before.
I am really grateful for the people I have met thus far! You guys are so awesome! and have made all the difference!!

Hi Alisa! Thank you :)
Hi Alisa, thank you for your greeting. I have never done any volunteering, but I believe if I reach out now and do something will help me to feel better as a person. And I really admire you setting this meetup groups and doing things for people and the world. I look forward to meet you soon and become your friend!
Hi Alisa,
Thanks for the welcoming. I love hiking all over. I can't really give you a "favorite" hike. I like the sound of some of the activities you have posted, but already have some schedule conflicts but I hope to meet you soon.
Thank You Alisa! Glad to be the 200th member! I look forward to meeting you in person in meetups.
Hi Alisa,
Thanks for greeting. Hope I can join the group project in April.
Hi Alisa =)
Hi Alisa!
Hi Alisa. Thanks for the greeting.
Hi, Alisa. Thanks for asking! I DO love the Redwoods and have explored many forests of the Santa Cruz Mountains. On my list to explore are all up in Humboldt County....the really big ones! A very nice one nearby in Aptos is Nicene Marks Park. The epicenter of the 1989 "Big One" earthquake is below this park.
Hi Alisa! Well choosing a country to visit is difficult since there are so many I'm interested in but I'll narrow it down to Australia or Japan.
