The center offers free pregnancy tests, prenatal and parenting classes, limited ultrasound services and material assistance. Mothers who take the classes earn credits that allow them to shop in the "mommy closet," which is filled with a variety of baby supplies.
The Aiken Pregnancy Care Center, including its branch offices in Wagener and Clearwater, are Christian nonprofits funded entirely by financial assistance from area churches and individual donations. The centers are volunteer-driven.
