A wonderful way to get rid of the winter blues!

This was my first experience drumming, it was great! I found it to be energy boosting and my mind felt open to possibilities. Some detail for those who have not attended and are curious ... The rhythm was demonstrated by the facilitator and was easy to follow. When you are one of 30 making drumming music together - there is a sense of community. Also Judy, the facilitator, asked us to set an intention for our time there, she spoke of letting go of rifts in relationships, of non-judgment for those who may be rhythm challenged. Incense and candles were burning. There was a time in drumming set aside for those who chose to go into the middle, lay in a circle on the floor and have other volunteers beat the drum over their body for healing.

It was awesome!! this was my first and I was anxious however when I got there it was a Great experience... can't wait for the next one! Thank you
