Dig in to the Top 5 sandwiches in the US #2

*****2 Day Trip*****

We will find camping / hotel outside of NY (more plans to be posted near event date)

Katz's Delicatessen, East Houston Street, New York, NY

It would not have been possible for Katz’s Delicatessen to survive three depressions, numerous recessions and two World Wars if Katz’s wasn’t the best deli in NYC. Opened in 1888, Katz’s Deli has maintained the tradition of quality that made us a beloved deli among the immigrants who crowded into the Lower East Side one hundred years ago. Since then, generations have stood before the carver as he skillfully carves a pile of pastrami, turkey or corned beef. It’s the exceptional taste that has carried Katz’s name far beyond NYC. Over the last century, a lot has come and gone, but Katz’s Delicatessen is still where it was in 1888.

What a great trip.... Riding on RT6 on the way out was so much fun. The curves were great and everyone had such a good time doing them. We did not even get rained on the whole way out. The camp ground was a very cool place http://www.camptaylor.com They are very helpful and even catered to our needs with 5 people..... Very clean place and would recommend them to anyone going that direction. Then NY city here we come..... crazy fun place (So Alive) Katz was a great location to go see and taste..... yummy food!!!!!! So all in all what a great weekend!!!!!

Special thank you to Naked Guy, Captain Slow, Buttercups, and Dan for taking a chance and making this ride a great experience!!!!!!!!!

Please remember NO Right hand turns on red in NYC. Check at parking in Hoboken and taking the path over to NYC. 80 is a not a fun drive but has very good pavement if your looking for easy ride home.

Prepare for your beauty sleep in style try http://www.mysnuggiestore.com/
One may want to give some special consideration to the suits and tuxedo products-they really say something (explanation not required-have to see). If this does not flip your switch on/off Target has a nice selection too.
Yeah I too do not have any of my stuff together, whatever that stuff would be, still not together. I’m always surprise of what I pack and what I miss or don't use.

helmets are required for this ride as New York and New Jersey have helmet laws. New York also had a law that states helmets can only have single speakers , but I don't see that as an issue. Unless of course you're pulled over. Which we won't be! !!!!

Okay everyone is going to camp.... the camp site is http://www.camptaylor.com I have called them but they will not take reservations unless we are staying for two or more days.... but! they said no problem for the 3rd for tent camping!!!!

It is $30 per site for 2 people and then $12 for each person after that.... So I am thinking two sites and split the cost per group of 4 which should be around $17 per person

We need to know how many people will be camping and who wants to get motel rooms. Let us know ASAP so that plans can be finalized

I'm tentative on this one, but never been to NYC. Besides the video had me at "orgasm producing sandwich" - which could pose a problem to my recent attempts at controlling my food addiction.
