The Mississippi Gulf Coast Atheist and Freethinking Association is hosting a Darwin Day lecture Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, featuring Brian Axsmith, University of South Alabama Professor of Biology. Professor Axsmith is a paleobotanist and evolutionary biologist. The subject of his lecture will be 'Coming to Terms with Darwin'.

The lecture will be held at Harmony Hall, 2514 19th Ave., Gulfport, MS. Harmony Hall is .3 miles east of Hwy. 49 (25th Ave.) and just north of Pass Road (25th St.). The lecture will start at 3pm, followed by a potluck dinner at 5pm. All those interested are invited to attend.
