This studio and flash photography workshop will offer an introduction to studio setup and lighting. We will start with a 'blank room' and we will assemble the seamless background, the flash heads and accessories. Then we will light a typical 'high key' portrait setup using a flash meter and single, and then multiple flash heads.
You will learn how to set up a studio to shoot, how to manage monoblock flash heads, softboxes, light modifiers, flash settings, ratios, how to pose a model and how to work with wireless flash triggers.
Each attendee will have the opportunity to shoot using the setup, and using the wireless studio flash system.
The Meetup will run from 12 until about 4PM.
Maximum of 10 attendees. Cost will be $25 per person.
Thanks Marian, I very much appreciate your participation and contribution.
(NB, Marian attended the February edition of this workshop).
I did not think I made it on this list but I did get an e-mail saying I was on the list. I will not be able to make it and I just wanted to make sure if I was on this list that someone else can take my place!
Hi BM, you are on the 'not attending' list :-((
Hope to see you at a future session.
Cheers

hi Graham, I'm hoping to get better at lighting the flowers that I'm photographing for my paintings... and to figure out how to photograph my paintings. Will these types of lighting situations be covered also? Just asking, I'm sure that whatever is taught will increase my knowledge tremendously, since I'm starting at close to zero! Looking forwards to saturday!
Lilliana we'll be covering the basics and those basics will work for everything. You may need to practice and learn more to get good at painting photography, but you'll be well on your way.
Look forward to working with you!

Graham, the class was nothing short of spectacular. Seriously, I took an intro to photography course recently and I learned more in one afternoon with you than I did in whole semester of classes. In short, thank you.
