The purpose of the Alameda Photographic Society is: to promote the art and science of photography in its various forms through the association of its members for study and entertainment; to encourage photographic contests and exhibitions; and to stimulate greater interest and advancement in the knowledge and practice of photography.

Visitors are always welcome at our meetings. We meet semi-monthly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. at 2441 San Jose Ave. in Alameda, CA (with the exception of December and the second Tuesday in July). Competition nights are on 2nd Tuesdays. Program nights are on the 4th Tuesdays.
