New folks are always welcome!

Sweet Dream in a Bag is a 501 (c) (3), Public Charity mission is to gift children living in poverty with new bedding packages. They're a great organization and a great partner of our Denver Young Professionals Kiwanis group. We're doing this packing event with other Kiwanis Clubs in the Denver area.

The children receiving bedding usually reside in temporary housing during the time their family is attempting to rebuild their lives. Each child is screened for bedding needs by the case workers, teachers, or agency managers.

This event is to help prepare the bedding that will be given away to the kids. The organization's organizers are religious, but people of all beliefs are welcome.

We usually grab lunch or drinks after if you want to hang out more.

Their mission is to create sustainable jobs and provide relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing around the world. Since Soles4Souls began in 2006, they’ve distributed over 35 million pairs of shoes in 127 countries and all 50 US states.

BEFORE EVENT:

1. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes. Bring a water bottle.

WHAT WE'LL DO:
Sort shoes at the warehouse. We will be tying shoe laces or rubber band pairs together and place the shoes into bags with 10 pairs per bag!

We will provide filtered water, gloves, a temp-regulated warehouse, and an opportunity to help those near and far!

Located at Parfet Industrial Park.
Turn into the Industrial/warehouse park (you'll see a red sign!), drive straight back, and take a right when it dead ends
We are in the white warehouses at the back and Unit #5 is to the right located behind a retaining wall. You'll see a sign for Soles4Souls.

Parking – park in any of the nearby parking spots

If you need to leave early or arrive up to 30 min late, it's totally fine! We would love all the help we can get 😊 We do often finish early, so if you'll be more than 30 min late, I don't recommend coming.
