Every year, Alameda has a 4th of July parade. This year I will have a float in the parade called Alameda Dance Party. If you want to be in a parade, join our non-stop dance party! Shaking your booty IS required!
You know you've always wanted to be in a parade. Well, now is your chance to do it! We'll be playing family-friendly music to get the crowd moving (funk classics, disco, latin beats, eletronica, pop, world, and more), Our intent is to play high-energy dance-friendly jams to move the party people!
WHERE TO FIND US
Line-up will take place on Lincoln Ave between Lea Court & Walnut St (we are float #78). Arrive by 9am at the latest to join in. Being on the float is first-come, first-served. If there are a large number of attendees, then some people may dance behind/around the truck. We will try to trade off as we are able to during the parade.
The route is 3.2 miles across town, ending at Webster St. and Lincoln Ave. We will take you back to the beginning of the route we we started from.
We will continue the party after the parade by heading to Lincoln Park on High St (between Central & Santa Clara) and have a BBQ (and maybe even play bocce ball).
