I'm the same Angela who's already in the group. Had some PC issues, changed my email address, but other than that not much else changed. I still love ACBBU as much as I always did, LOL.
Cino, our ABT, is a family member since he was about 3 mth. old. We heard he was supposed to be used for fighting & that is something we are against! He is a clown, has the ability to make us laugh all day long if it is up to him, LOL. We also own 2 Heelers, both were walking 'homeless' in the area of the Medical Center, & since I can't look the other way I took both of them in... Their names are 'Otis' & Freddie & it took us a very long time to make them understand we DO NOT hit them... Both were very scared for almost 2 long years of just about anything, loud noise, loud voices, men, etc... Our family has always been a animal loving family, & I'm proud to say I have been involved in rescues, finding dogs new good homes, trying to talk to people about spay/neuter, & general responsibility when owning a dog/s, or cat/s... I try to do my best to also talk to people about ABT's, letting people know bullies aren't 'vicious', or 'bad' dogs at all...
I went to a 'Big Dawg' meeting, met Karen who had volunteered a training session... She invited me to come out to a weight pull meet... The next Sunday I went to a meet & the rest is history, LOL... My bully took right to pulling, he liked it, & so did I...
I would be honered to participate again in community events, as soon as I fully recovered from my surgery.
Yes I do.
Alamo City Bully Breeds United is a caring group of people who educate people about Pit Bulls (and any other breed)... The groups organizers offer a variety of fun activies, the weekly weight pull meets are a great exercise for dogs...
