Introduction

My name is Kimmy and I am the momma of a beautiful female Jack Russell named Ruby. :) She is a year old and was given to me by my father who has 3 Jack Russells himself. I love Ruby and Jack Russells, so it's only right to be a part of this group!

  • No worries... she is a sweet baby! Some of them just don't like it.

  • Hey Kimberley!

Great meeting you and Ruby at Pet Pawchanga!! Sorry I had to take off so suddenly, but ... ehhhhh ... y'know. LOL Hope the two of you can make it to Hardberger tomorrow. Layla and Ruby seemed to hit it off just fine, so now they have playmates. Yay!! :)

  • Hiya Kimberley ... Toys? Do you mean sharing, or how she plays with them? I've not yet been in a position to see if she'll share her toys. But when she plays with them, well ... let's just say I wouldn't want to be those toys. She snaps her head so hard I'm surprised it doesn't fly off her neck! But she is so smart when it comes to understanding words and phrases ... except when given commands around distractions (like anywhere outside of the house). *shaking head* :)

  • LOL Kimberley! That's a big yes on the squirrels and cats, although there's a window between them. :D

Layla thinks anything smaller than she is must be a snack. On the other hand, she's defended her own food against dogs 10 times her size. I'm just waiting for the day when a large dog finally puts its paw down and teaches the lil missy a lesson in manners once and for all. :)

  • Hiya Kimberly ... we can't make it this Saturday, but I think we'll be going to the Paws On The Patio event at the Quarry on Monday evening. We won't get there until about 6:30 though. We'll try to make it over to Hardberger soon! You can't miss Layla. She'll be out in front, pulling me wherever her nose takes her. lol
