I need to be challenge on my long distance runs. And I am tired of running alone most of the time. It would be fun and rewarding to help some of the runners out there get motivated & run faster times.
Training for Rock & Roll Half Marathon and other schedule road races from 5K - 25K. My training distances are from 5miles to 13 miles.
I Prefer to meet once a week with the group - Sunday Evening after 6 pm
Far NW,My favorite spots to run are 1. In Helotes,TX by Roger Soler's Running store(10 mile course). 2. Start at San Pedro Park (run 2 laps around) - continue route to SA Zoo - continue run to downtown area - finish back at San Pedro Park.

7:00-8:00/mile depending on distance.
The Race Organizers are great motivators and are there to push you to complete the meet up training runs.

Ulises there was not enough interest for this weekend so the Supported Long Run is rescheduled for October 9th. Will you still be able to participate? I may leave the Gov Canyon run on as not everyone will will want to do the same thing. Let me know as there needs to be enough participation for the Supported Long Run to make it worthwhile.
