Introduction

I'm a lifelong runner and have run at many levels over the years. I've punched my marathon ticket but prefer shorter runs these day. I consider running a way of life not a challange or chore.

How did you hear about Alamo Running Buddies?

I was dragged out by a buddy kicking and screaming.

What days and times are best for you to meet for runs? We want to offer runs throughout the week, morning and night. If mornings are good, what's the earliest and latest you could meet? If evenings are good, what's the earliest you could meet.

I prefer evening runs.

What part of town are you in; NE, NC, NW, SE, Alamo Heights, Balcones Heights, etc? We are interested so we can plan convenient locations to meet at. Do you have favorite spots to run already that would be good for a group to meet at ?

North West San Antonio. I prefer the trail runs in any of the local parks.

What level do you feel like you are at with your running; couch potato with running shoes, novice, developing heart and lungs, ready for some 5k/10k races, intermediate, specialist, advanced amateur, Olympic hopeful, pro?

intermediate. I've punched a few tickets along the way and hope for a few more.

What is your typical average training pace, or how long does it take you to run a mile, 2 miles, or 3 miles? What distances are you wanting to run? Are you training for a particular event?

I prefer 6-10 mile runs typically at 7-9 min pace. I'm training for life!
