Introduction

I am a life long runner and I love to run with a group and make running social and fun. I really enjoy the 10K and half-marathon distances.

How did you hear about Alamo Running Buddies?

I heard about the meet up website from a friend and looked for a running group after my recent move to San Antonio

What days and times are best for you to meet for runs? We want to offer runs throughout the week, morning and night. If mornings are good, what's the earliest and latest you could meet? If evenings are good, what's the earliest you could meet.

Weekday evenings after 6:30 and Saturday mornings (starting anytime between 7 and 9)

What part of town are you in; NE, NC, NW, SE, Alamo Heights, Balcones Heights, etc? We are interested so we can plan convenient locations to meet at. Do you have favorite spots to run already that would be good for a group to meet at ?

Huebner and I10

What level do you feel like you are at with your running; couch potato with running shoes, novice, developing heart and lungs, ready for some 5k/10k races, intermediate, specialist, advanced amateur, Olympic hopeful, pro?

Ran a half marathon in May and have taken a bit of a break, but planning to run Rock n Roll in November so looking to get back in the groove.

What is your typical average training pace, or how long does it take you to run a mile, 2 miles, or 3 miles? What distances are you wanting to run? Are you training for a particular event?

10-11 min miles Distance - 4 to 6 miles a couple times a week and then longer runs 8-12 on the weekend.

  • Liz,
Glad to see you out there again today. Sorry you ended up running alone and thanks for waiting for me in the parking lot.
My cell phone is almost always on me. It's [masked]. I hate to make people wait for me when I'm running slow and/or extra long.
    Craig
