Introduction

Hello!

How did you hear about Alamo Running Buddies?

MeetUp

What days and times are best for you to meet for runs? We want to offer runs throughout the week, morning and night. If mornings are good, what's the earliest and latest you could meet? If evenings are good, what's the earliest you could meet.

Flexible. Just post it and if I can make it, I'll be there.

What part of town are you in; NE, NC, NW, SE, Alamo Heights, Balcones Heights, etc? We are interested so we can plan convenient locations to meet at. Do you have favorite spots to run already that would be good for a group to meet at ?

What level do you feel like you are at with your running; couch potato with running shoes, novice, developing heart and lungs, ready for some 5k/10k races, intermediate, specialist, advanced amateur, Olympic hopeful, pro?

What is your typical average training pace, or how long does it take you to run a mile, 2 miles, or 3 miles? What distances are you wanting to run? Are you training for a particular event?

  • Hi Shayne, I took off the week off from running for two friends weddings, but I'm ready to get back on track. Next Monday/Wednesday after 4pm and Saturday/Sunday mornings work best for me. I'm planning to run the Shavano Park run on Thursday, as I've missed the last three meetups! Let me know what works for you and your schedule, then we can finalize the details of where to meet!

  • Hi Shayne! I got your email! I would love to meet up sometime even if it's just for a few miles. I've never run at either park but have heard a lot about the one close to Valero. I'm free most days after 4pm. What does your schedule look like?
