Introduction

I'm Debi and my two Jack Russells are Abbott and Bridget. We love to walk and want to learn about everything. We've got some age but we're willing to try hard. We are members of Nature Hounds and hope to combine the two into wonderful experiences.

Tell us about you and your dog....

I'm a 58 year old Texas Gal. My two Jacks are Abbott (10) and Bridget (6), both rescue dogs. We love to walk but I'm a bit slower than some. We're game though and hope to increase our stamina with work. Also looking forward to learning some obedience and better socialization.

How did you find Alamo WOOF Meetup Group?

What part of town are you in to help us organize meetups?

North East in Converse.

Does your dog have any previous training? Do you presently have any AKC titles or Canine Good Citizen certification?

Both dogs are poundlings and graduates of the school of hard knocks. They walk well and haven't bitten any one yet. Back in the day I had other, larger dogs, but find these little guys give me plenty to do at this stage of the game.

Absolutely. They are actually quite good if no one invades their immediate space.

Debi That is so smart! Release dogs pent up energies before expecting a calm picture with Santa. Now, I wish mom's would do the same for 2 legged little people called children. LOL

Hi Debi ... I think Layla and I will be coming out to Pet Pawchanga. Probably get there around 2pm. I'm just going to look for other JRTs and hope to meet both you and Kim by that method. :D

Hi Debi, and welcome! Thanks for joining. This is only our second meeting, and it's fine to leave whenever you need to. We have the space for an hour at the library. Sure just let me know when you can head up there... it shouldn't be a problem for me since I live relatively close. That's cool that you do Russell Rescue. I actually came to y'all for help on a Jack Russell in ACS and y'all helped me pull her and then placed her with a wonderful family. I actually still keep in touch with the folks that adopted her!
