Introduction

Vegan mama to two little vegan kiddoes. Gave birth in September 2011 after my first vegan pregnancy. My husband is vegan in our home and when we are out to eat. We love this group and have made wonderful friends.

Are you Vegan, Vegetarian, Raw, or Just Curious and how long?

Vegan since my daughter started eating solids. I knew I had no interest in feeding her animal products, and knew the best way to teach her to eat healthy was to be her example. It's been over a year now, and it's been great. Both are children are being raised Vegan as well).

Where do you live (Anchorage, Eagle River, Wasilla, etc)?

Anchorage (West Side)

What prompted you to become a member?

I was invited by the lovely Stephanie Duboc and I love vegan cooking and thought it would be a good place to find like minded people. Especially as a vegan mom, it's important for me to meet others for my daughter to interact with.

We will totally be there. I have a bunch of white t-shirts that would be great for "the craft" if you want I can bring them. I can bring a big green salad made with yummy greens and veggies from my CSA share out here in the valley too. Im up for helping out with food, so let me know if you need anything.

I'll definitely be checking out the other mom groups too! What part of town do you reside in? We're in Chugiak :) so usually we don't go alllll the way to anchorage unless something awesome is happening ;P

Thank you for the welcome! I'd love to get together with our kiddos! Jude turns two on June 29th, and I think he would love having a little girl-friend ;) I also hope to make it out to some potlucks in the future, was bummed to miss the picnic today!!

Im so glad to hear that he was nice. Lanie said that another boy pushed him and made him cry. He is still talking about it so it made a big impression. He is talking about Violet too though. He was happy to see you guys.
