Don Jose's Mexican Restaurant

Traditional Turkish foods, many that just happen to be vegan.
225 E Fifth Ave. (downtown)
They have veggie breakfast, veggie sandwich, salad, garden burger, pastas. And they're a hoppin' gay bar in the evenings!
1200 W Northern Lights Blvd. (next to REI)
Funky little place with some vegan entrees and baked goods.
3300 Old Seward Hwy.
Vegetarian salads, pizzas available (honey in the crust, so not vegan). And don't forget the beer!
The Natural Pantry

Food concessions with many veg options.
2610 Spenard Rd.
Lots of vegan options and extremely healthy choices including a full juice bar with wheatgrass.
Peter's Sushi Spot
4140 B St. (near Tudor and C St.)
Best place in town for a veggie roll and some miso soup (and maybe some sake!).
Phyllis's Café & Salmon Bake
436 D Street (downtown)
Garden burger/salad/sandwich. Discount coupons available on restaurant.com.
2412 Spenard Rd. (across the street from 'Koots!)
Vietnamese food with tons of yummy (and some spicy!) veggie/vegan options.
328 G St. (downtown)
They are very accommodating to making their dishes vegan. All dressings, spreads, and mayos are house-made with canola or extra virgin olive oil - no raw eggs or trans fats.
1320 Huffman Park Drive

They make their own pizza dough and there is no dairy in it. They have sorbet (which is vegan), pastas, salads and pizza.
Tap Root Café

Hip little place on the southside with a nice beer selection, live music and vibe to spare.
3405 East Tudor Road (in a strip mall on Tudor near and Bragaw/Elmore)
Hole-in-the-wall with some of the best food in this town. The eggplant tofu is to die for. Very large vegetarian menu section and most plates are $8.

The Yak and Yeti Himalayan Restaurant

Himalayan food (Nepali, Indian, Tibetan) and lots of veggie selections.
