I was active in the meetups in 08, and figured I'd see what was brewing this time around, and I find not much. Is there anything that can be done to get people energized again?
I hope all have been well since 08! Go Ron Go! Jim |

Jim, I expressed a similar concern last week and it seems to have disappeared off the boards.
The boards show a lack of interest by the current leadership and my feeling is they should step aside. When I asked to be an organizer because I saw nothing being done, I was ignored. We need to know who is interested in being active on the Ron Paul Campaign in Albany because we need to watch the vote to prevent theft of our votes. Across the country they do not intend to play fair, but are stealing the votes, and people are fighting back. There are several other major issues: media bias and a lawsuit against the NYSBOE which will open up precinct level seats throughout the county for interested persons. Some of my research is available at: you tube.com ::: type in libertyguard1789. Peace. |

I had the same problem in Rochester area.
I would suggest ideas and get no response so I started my own meetup Monroe-Ontario County for Ron Paul. Started posting literature distribution events at public markets, weekly sign bombs etc. Recently I was made co organizer of Monroe County Campaign For Liberty. The membership for both groups has increased. I would question the leaderships motives. Do they really support Ron Paul?? Start your own group. Setup voter registration tables in local colleges. That's a good way to recruit. Register with RonPaulCountry.com You can post your events and get volunteers. When you do this send me an invitation. Good luck. Angela R. Hilton |

I have fallen off the radar myself, due to the addition of a 22 month and 5 year old..lol
All kidding aside, I have been following most NY Legislature stories for the past 2 years as well as the national puke-fest that is our Congress. Not sure if I have an answer as to what will get "boots on the ground" but I think it's possible again. I regret not attending Tuesday's meeting at Browns, babysitting issues. I look forward to future meetings as they take place and am willing to hear all recs. for new and improved leadership. Todd Haggerty |
