Adopt-A-Highway Cleanup

All,
It's time for our first Adopt-A-Highway cleanup for 2012!  The information is below.

Our group has adopted a highway!!!

We have adopted Rt 910A (Glenmont Rd.) from Rt 9W to Rt 144.

(Special thanks to Todd for putting this all together for us!)

This is an excellent location. The road has a Price Chopper plaza at the intersection with Rt. 9W. There is plenty of traffic, and it could use our TLC.

Our requirements for the Adopt-a-Highway program are to clean the roadway approximately 3-4 times per year.

We will meet at the Firehall on Glenmont Rd. at 8am the morning of the cleanup. There is plenty of parking in the back. Those that wish to can bring breakfast food to make at the firehall before the cleanup.

The cleanup will start at 9am. We assume it will take approximately 3 hours to complete the road. Todd will have all of the materials we need.

At 12 noon, all are welcome to head to Chili's (walking distance away) afterwards to celebrate a job well done.

This is a great opportunity for us, and really should be a great time.

I hope to see you there!

Inclement weather date will be May 5th - same time, same place. (We do cleanup in light rain.)
