My name is Takeisha, I am a member of this group and an organizer for others, I would like to ask the Group Organizers here if they would like to participate in the following event below. ( I tried to email but emailing was turned off )
I am planning to charter a bus to take us there Friday, bring us to all of the vineyards (so we don't have any drinking and driving) and bring us back Sunday.
I will be looking into prices for the bus, hotel and the festival tickets and update the event accordingly so you know how much $$ to set aside.
My suggestion is that you RSVP now so I know if I have enough people to charter a bus and then I can keep you posted via email on pricing.
*in the unlikely event that we don't charter a bus, I am still going, we can all make car pool arrangements for those who RSVP
This will be a shared event across multiple groups to ensure we have enough attendees to retain a charter bus. I plan to host it on groups where I am an organizer and reach out to other leaders of other capital region groups.
This means: bring whoever you like as long as there is no one under the age of 21 and no pets! (barring guide dogs, etc.)
Activities include but aren't limited to:
Launch of the Lakes on Friday night as Bacchus blesses the festival. Fancy Cheese will be on hand with free samples, with wine available from several festival wineries, plus concessions, live music and of course our popular fireworks display.
NASCAR Pace car rides for $10 Tasters Banquet on Saturday night features regional food products paired with specific New York wines. Seating is limited and advanced reservations are required.
Great Western breakfast with champagne and mimosas on Saturday morning
The Riedel Experience with Sensory Exploration class and various VIP gifts/access
