WHO WE ARE

The Alberta Scooter club was formed in 2005. With the rise in popularity of the step-through motorcycle, AKA scooter in the form of the large touring models, a group for Alberta general was needed. Many clubs for this form of recreation exist in the larger centers, but no club was formed to service rural and smaller centers. Further, there were no clubs formed to pander to the 'cross-over' crowd.

The Maxi-scooter, those step-through motorcycles that are characterized by larger engine displacements, allowing the rider to tour afar and speeds even the larger cruiser have trouble with, are the machine of choice for many of our members.

The group, existed prior to it's arrival to meet-up.com and it is our hope that you will join us for summer fun. We take group rides/trips to the mountains, southern Alberta, BC, Sask to name just a few scheduled trips members have enjoyed. And.. yes, we meet at our favorite haunts... coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs.
If you just want to ride, join our group. Current members ride scooters and even cruisers. We find that if you like living on two-wheels our club is a great place to start.
