Model Shoot - Eau Claire

This shoot will be outdoors at Eau Claire market. We will meet on the Running Room side of the mall at 4:00pm. There is a starting cap of 10 photographers due to difficulty in finding models. As I get more models confirmed I will open up more spaces. If you are able to bring a model with you please let me know. Guests will not be allowed for this event with the only exceptions being if you have contacted me regarding bring a model or an assistant prior to the event. This shoot is not a teaching shoot. This is an opportunity to add some work to, or start, a portfolio. There will be opportunities to at other shoots to learn more about technique and posing, etc, but this is not one of them. Photographers will need to bring model releases, bottled water and such to keep you on your feet, any lighting equipment and such you want to use and anything else you think would be good to shoot with (props, background, etc)

If you are not prepared to give a model images in exchange for their time please do not RSVP. I don't enjoy dealing with models who don't receive their photos. They are doing this for free so it's only fair that they get something in exchange for their time. Please note that some models may require you to sign a release of their own. Be prepared to discuss usage rights and such before you work with someone. Model releases are non-negotiable if you plan on giving photos to the model for their use, using/displaying them yourself. If you do not have one to use yourself, please let me know and I will email you one to make copies of. If you have any questions, concerns, or get lost on the day of the shoot I can be contacted via email, phone call, text...403.807.5918 or [masked]

It was a challenging experience. You could learn so many things even by just watching other photographers and models. I managed to get several pro-looking shots. Special thanks to Tanya .

Excellent location for good or bad weather. Very interesting locations inside and around the location. Great turn-out and the models were all lovely.
