Introduction

I am new to DSLR world.Want to learn more about photography and taking pictures. What I understand is that Photography is not only just clicking the shutter button, but way more than that.

Tell the group a bit about yourself. What kind of photography do you like to do? Do you considder yourself a novice or an expert? Would you like to teach or learn something about this amazing field? And finally, what kind of food can you cook? :)

I am engineer by profession. I am hobbyist photographer. Right now I am trying to shoot what ever I can and where ever I can. I am 100% vegetarian. I am not good cook, but my wife cooks very delicious vegetarian food with Indian flavor.

Of every picture you have ever seen, what is the one that is the most striking, most memorable for you.

I am still waiting....may be one day that will become possible

Is there an event up and coming, or was there an event in history that you would have like to have been there to photograph and why?

Not sure about this. But I would like to shoot what ever comes my way..If possible..Just shoot...offcourse with my DSLR.
