Tell the group a bit about yourself; What kind of photography do you like to do? Do you considder yourself a novice or an expert? Would you like to teach or learn something about this amazing field? And finally, what kind of food can you cook?

My preferences are sports, wildlife, landscape underwater and macro. Pretty much genres where I can't control lighting because I find that intimidating.

Are there any events that you would like to see us do as a group?

I would really like to learn more about lighting, work flow practices, post-processing and the business side of photography.

Of every picture you have ever seen, what is the one that is the most striking, most memorable for you.

I can't think of one picture but I know that the first time I saw a photograph of a waterfall with that silky water look I had to learn how to do it.

If you could have one camera and one lense for the rest of your life to use for everything, based on what's out there now, what would you pick?

Canon 7D with the[masked] IS.

Is there an event up and coming, or was there an event in history that you would have like to have been there to photograph and why?

I went to the Olympics this year in Vancouver and loved the photographic opportunities there. I would love to be able to photograph any other Olympics, past or future.

Just a hobbyist photographer at the moment but with ambitions of turning this hobby into a career, or at least a side business. I started getting serious about photography and developing my skills about 2-3 years ago after getting my first dSLR.
