Introduction

I have recently finished my certifiate in photography from SAIT and just need an excuse to get out and take some photos...I was hoping joining this group might give me that chance.

Tell the group a bit about yourself. What kind of photography do you like to do? Do you considder yourself a novice or an expert? Would you like to teach or learn something about this amazing field? And finally, what kind of food can you cook? :)

I luv to take balck and white pictures on film and develope them in a darkroom!! Otherwise I will take a picture of anything and havent really got a preference just yet.

Of every picture you have ever seen, what is the one that is the most striking, most memorable for you.

a friend took a shot of my son just before he started a swimming race...his face was so full of concentration and his hands were clasped like in prayer. It was great first because it was my son but secondly it captured the feelings of that moment on film.

If you could have one camera and one lense for the rest of your life to use for everything, based on what's out there now, what would you pick?

Canon anything and a wide angle f/2.8

Is there an event up and coming, or was there an event in history that you would have like to have been there to photograph and why?
